What is a Baritone Ukulele?

Length: 30″+
Tuning: DGBE
Number of frets: 19+

The baritone ukulele is the biggest among ukuleles. It’s tuned down lower to DGBE, which produces a deeper sound. You can still strum it like any other ukulele but you’re going to really lose that bright crisp sound that you’d get with soprano uke. Baritone ukes are great for blues players and fingerpickers.

Which ukulele should I choose?

Beginners will probably start with soprano ukulele. Its is smaller, it produces typical uke sound and also the price is a bit lower.  Our suggestion is: visit a music shop and try few models.
