Every year, ukulele players from around the world gather in Monopoli, Italy, for Monopolele Mediterranean…
Riff runs three-city Flight ukulele workshop series in Poland
Last month, Flight artist Adam Duszyc took ukuleles on the road in Poland, spending three evenings in three cities with a corner of a music store full of people who wanted to play.
The workshops were hosted by Salony Muzyczne Riff, the longest-running music store chain in Poland, and took place in Katowice, Poznań and Gdańsk. They were free and open to everyone, so whether you had never held a ukulele or had been playing for years, you would have fit right in, and the room was a mix of beginners, teenagers and adults all playing together with Adam leading the way.
Each city also had its own Flight ukulele to play for, since the Flight Miasta Riff series includes a model dedicated to each of the three cities, and every workshop gave people the chance to win one and take home an instrument made for the place they live.
From the photos, it looks like everyone had a great time, and we can’t wait to see what Riff and other Flight dealers do next.
