Flight Artist Release: Sammy “4stringboy”’s Sister Albums First Days & lofi daze

Flight artist Sammy (aka 4stringboy) has just released two sister albums, First Days and lofi daze, offering two contrasting interpretations of the same core compositions.

First Days presents Sammy’s take on modern classical music, blending ukulele with piano and strings to create a clean, expressive, and melodic soundscape. In contrast, lofi daze reimagines these pieces through a lo-fi lens, warping and detuning the same compositions to produce a more atmospheric, textured feel.

All of the tracks are drawn from Sammy’s beginner-focused book Fingerstyle First-Days, with the goal of creating albums that reflect his personal style while remaining accessible to ukulele players of all skill levels.

Both albums feature a range of Flight ukuleles, including the Fireball, 4SB, Navigator, Nomad, Aviator, and A10 FM, showcasing their versatility across different musical styles.
