We paired a solid spruce top with solid a rosewood back and sides to achieve a sound that is both deep, warm and rich in the mid and lows as well as providing a clarity and projection in the high end. This is a very common combination of guitar tonewoods that works incredibly well on this tenor ukulele.

The Flight 4SB features a rosewood bridge, as well as a real bone nut and a compensated saddle. Compensated saddles help to properly set the intonation of each string. The Flight 4SB includes a pin bridge system, which helps keep the strings properly aligned on the ukulele, as well as to create a break angle over the saddle that transfers vibrations efficiently to the soundboard of the ukulele.

The Flight 4SB shares the unique “modified” slotted headstock as some of the other ukuleles in our Royal Series. The headstock looks amazing and will attract action on its own, while the design is strong and effective, making sure that the break angle at the nut results in the best possible tone of your ukulele.

If you live in an area with low humidity, the wood of any instrument can dry and warp, causing issues with playability, such as fret buzz and dead string sounds.
