Flight NUS200 Teak Soprano Ukulele
The NUS200 rewrites the rule book on first ukes. Made from Indonesian laminate teak which gives us total control over sound, volume and punch, you’ll question whether you ever need to upgrade. The neck is made from locally sourced Meranti with a nandu fretboard which we’ve built with a nut width of 38mm to bring you more space and comfort when learning those new chords.
Oh and a Flight ukulele isn’t a flight ukulele if it isn’t lovingly packed into a nice gig bag. This may be your first uke, it may not be your only uke; but it’ll stay with you for years beside campfires, beaches, forest walks and by your bedside. A flawless, unfailing companion that sees you go from novice to master.
Flight NUS200 Teak
Let Your Music Take
The body is made from a laminate teak wood. We have increasingly found that laminate woods gives us a huge amount of control over the sound of an instrument which is why we can create a beautiful sounding ukulele without breaking your bank. Teak is a widely used, strong wood that is used in boat building and furniture. Known for its water resistance and durability, it has as much punch, tone and volume as mahogany but the finish brings out an almost burnt gold colour. In fact we can’t stop looking at it.
