We use a solid mahogany top for the NUT500 Tenor Ukulele, paired with laminate mahogany for the back and sides. Mahogany is a dense hardwood known for its straight grain and fine, even texture. Its tonal qualities produce a rich, warm sound with excellent sustain and balance. The solid top enhances resonance and projection, giving the NUT500 a full-bodied and dynamic tone. As with all our ukuleles, the rosettes are drawn by hand and engraved by laser.
